Award - Trophy Pape

These awards are given each year to those swimmers who have worked especially hard during the swim season. Swimmers are evaluated by the coaches as to the merit of their individual contributions. Awards are distributed at the annual recognition event.

Massecar Trophy	Outstanding 1st year Boy
Sullivan Trophy	Outstanding 1st year Girl
Lathrop I	Most Improved Girl - based not only upon practice and meets, but the swimmer dedication, determination and overall good attitude. (Retired)
Lathrop II	Most Improved Boy - based not only upon practice and meets, but the swimmer dedication, determination and overall good attitude. (Retired)
Senior Swimmer Award	Outstanding male and female athlete whose consistent hard work, dedication, and positive spirit contributes not only to their own achievement, but to the overall success of the team. (New in 2003-2004)
Blue & Gold Award	This trophy is awarded to the outstanding senior swimmer that has demonstrated consistent hard work and superior dedication to the sport of swimming, enabling them to succeed, grow and develop rapidly over the course of the past year. (New in 2004-2005)
Wager Trophy	Most improved male or female athlete who has developed a goal-oriented philosophy that has contributed to his / her success in swimming this season. (Retired)
May Trophy	Outstanding male or female athlete whose achievements in swimming are due to consistent hard work demonstrated through regular participation at practice and meets. (Retired)
Doerner / Gumina Cup	Outstanding male or female athlete who has demonstrated that success in swimming is achieved through hard work, commitment, and dedication.
Potter Memorial Cup	Outstanding male or female athlete who has demonstrated a winning spirit. This positive attitude serves to enhance not only his / her own performance but contributes significantly to the overall success of the team.
Phelps Service Achievement Trophy	This trophy is awarded to the person or persons who have shown qualities of team leadership. The senior members, along with the coaches, select the recipient(s) of this award.
Doerner Award	The Doerner Award is given to the swimmer, coach or parent who's contributions have done the most to improve our team and to perpetuate it's philosophy that allows our children to enjoy a healthy balance of competition, cooperation, development and fun. The Doerner Award was created by the swim team in 1988 in memory of Jean Doerner for her many hours of community service.
